WHERE WE STARTED
This job was a departure from my regular aesthetics.
A small beauty company that’s recently set up shop, SS Bath & Beauty reached out for a logo and a little bit of brand development.
Working without a budget can be a scary proposition.
But, what can I say? I’m a sucker for a sap story. And I knew exactly how I could help this business.
Where we wound up
Inspiration can come from anywhere. And for this job, I didn’t have to look too far at all.
This client’s most popular product is a “Bath Soak Tea Bag’. I found the item intriguing and wanted to include it in the branding. The seed had been planted.
After a restless night of ideas floating around my head, I woke up and got stuck to work. Muted tones, a touch of surrealism, and an organic feel are something a little left field for me.
But so was this whole job.
And with a special reason to get to work, a special kind of result is what I got.
After playing with a few angles, I settled on the idea of a woman taking a bath in a teacup.
I designed three concepts that kept everything light and playful. This was an additional asset that the client loved.
Wanting to make a statement, she chose the first design for her future marketing.
Final deliverables:
